Excellent advice Dodger. While at the parade this weekend it was hard not to notice just how many parents need to start heading Dodger's well articulated advice. I saw kids wandering all over the area. Yes, patents were nearby, I hope, but just one moment of inattentiveness will change these families lives forever. Degenerates are everywhere just waiting for the perfect moment to strike even in idyllic SB.

Account my relatively good health and lack of grey hair to never having fathered children. I sometimes wonder if these dangers always existed and we never knew about them; or if in fact there is some kind of societal pandemic of serious mental illness. An important read, well done Dodger.
To bolster a belief that perhaps these dangers always existed, I think these police scanner reports are a real public service to the community. Its amazing how much crime goes unreported in our local mainstream media: so as not to scare the tourists I guess, but ultimately to the endangerment of us all, resident and tourist alike.
