A bunch of us took express MTD buses from downtown to work at UCSB every day. Chris was an amazing employee of the Santa Barbara Metropolitan Transit District. Top-notch in every way. Then, I would spot him later in Goleta, working at his next career-move, = in an American Medical Response team vehicle. Chris was a go-to guy: a guy you *wanted* to go to if you had a question. Absolutely wonderful personality. A very special person.

I knew him from the MTD - my years of riding on the bus and this is the ONLY driver I recall by name. He was always wonderful and friendly. Condolences to his family and friends. He surely will be missed!

I also remember him from the bus. I always looked at the names of the drivers that were friendly. The community has lost a good man.
