OK I'll consider that don't have any money right now usually do credit with my vet. Belinda is impossible one minute she wants the kitty the next she doesn't and Pooh Bear hates me looks like another 10 years of no sleep..Thank You D8VANILLA. :)

Will things are not looking good for kitty here but I'm going to wait and find out how much Mc Donald will charge me. Then I may just take him there I'm not sure..Belinda who wanted the cat for her very own has jumped off the wagon with both feet and everytime the little booger comes around she yells at it to go away. I cannot find him right now Pooh Bear hates me. I might have to find another home for him. I don't want him going to the cat shelter. I hope things change and he gets to stay.. The kitty Jo Jo is around a year old and pretty wild. I could tell he will never subject himself to being an indoor kitty..I can't handle him going to the shelter because he will be in a cage.. Thank You everyone from the bottom of my heart. I bet you thought I was going to say Fart huh?

I really feel for Pooh Bear! I know it's a hard decision, Roger, but contact ASAP, the cat shelter at County 683-3368. Talk with them. I'll bet you can arrange with them to get the cat back if he's not adopted. They ARE no-kill. G'luck! If you get him neutered at Humane Society (964-4777) you'll also have to pay $25 for a membership, unless a member takes him. It IS the cheapest, and they, along with the shelter, are so experienced. I know McDonald's is good, but it's hundreds of dollars. And vaccinations, at Humane Soc: Cats Rabies: $10.00 FVRCP: $10.00 Feline Leukemia: $12.50 All cats must be tested for Leukemia prior to beginning Leukemia vaccination series. Leukemia Test: $17.00

It's NOT Pooh Bear..He's fixed along long time ago. It is a kitten that just showed up one day. We have been taking care of him. I'll accept whatever punishment McDonalds wants to give me. Besides not many people know this but McDonald Animal Hospital is under new ownership and is being run by a bunch of women. S-C-A-R-E-Y...They are alittle cheaper...I always have gotton great deals from McDonalds. I'm not planning to take the little one out to the county. I don't like cages and either does kitty but Thank You for your concern. Roger

Roger, there's a nonprofit in town called Care 4 Paws. They have a spay-neuter van that goes to neighborhoods. They also try to help folks who want to do the right thing by their pets but don't have a lot of money. Here's the contact info: care4paws.org • info@care4paws.org • 805.968.CARE (2273)

832p- no problem with posting the info more than once. Sometimes people miss postings. ..... I am a member of the Humane Society. Am I reading Roger correctly, he doesn't want to take kitty to Humane Society for the neuter?? It's a one-day deal....neuter & pick-up same day. I have a friend that adopted 2 feral cats and turned them into indoor cats, just fine.... Took a little time and some patience, but it all worked out great for them. So, it can be done.

832 here. Oh, this got all unclear & messy! :-) Roger, I meant I feel bad for Pooh Bear having another cat around & having to put up with an interloper. It can take months & be a tough road to bring in another pet, I'm sure you know. I got the whole story clearly. I'm just another cat lover and didn't write clearly. Personally, I would not pay big bucks for a private vet when SBHS has such a great program (I've had several done there over the decades). They spay & neuter so many hundreds of animals -- I like to think practice DOES make perfect. lol Care 4 Paws -- Yes! I've rarely seen a non-profit achieve so much in a short time; they're wonderful. Scritches to Pooh & Jo Jo. And you too Roger.

D8, Roger doesn't want to take Jo Jo kitty to ASAP the cat shelter. Thank goodness Roger does want to neuter kitty. Roger? why do want to spend hundreds of dollars instead of inexpensive options? This discussion makes me think about Chip the lost & found lab. I tried to post when it was current but computer crashed. I am actually sterilized, just like my pets, and for the same reason. Granted, I didn't have to have parts removed. ;-)

I know you call him a "kitten" but he's a "young adult" male full of raging hormones. Getting him fixed will calm him down somewhat, but he still may be very territorial, and make life uncomfortable for PoohBear. JoJo will likely become less aggressive once tutored but if Belinda mistreats him, it would be best to find him another home. I'll bet edhatters could help you on that.

We have NO intentions of leaving him there.... just getting him neutered and a couple needed shots. Then he's back with you the same day. Granted he will be in a cat-carrier for a little bit....
