Hi Roger, I work and volunteer at local non-profits. Lately I've been stuck in the office alot. So I make a point of reading your reports every week to keep me current with what's going on in the lives of my clients. I see you as my "eyes and ears" of the streets! Thank you for all you do, your scanner reports help SB in more ways than you probably realize!
On a side note: Like you, I've been noticing the influx of young "transients", the kids with the dogs causing trouble on State street. From what I've observed they seem to be educated, not drug addicted, and not mentally ill. So what gives? The girls I have encountered choose to be dirty; they are offered free clothes, free laundry, soap and nail clippers- but turn them all down. Maybe they are trying to make some statement or get back at their parents... What do you think???
