Please stop misusing the word "forensic" (Noun 1. forensics - scientific tests or techniques used in the investigation of crimes) when reporting that an audit or review is taking place. If there is evidence of criminal activity the DA or local cops should be leading this, not the Board of Supervisors or County Auditor. But take a gander at the photo and one cannot be surprised that Bob Geis is in the picture--what a ham.

Hmmm doesnt sound too "forensic" to me......seems wrong that Geis is doing this since Geis was directly involved in FAILING to review the financial records year after year while LHCDC continued to get hundreds of thousands of dollars through the Countys CDBG "reviews".
I presumed the County Board in ordering a forensic audit would be seeking an independent audit. All of the bs in this article just sounds like more of the same. Fox guarding the henhouse-----
