Really like that second door. "If the doors of perception were cleansed everything would appear to man as it is, infinite". - William Blake

What a great door to Santa Barbara- love every single one of these special doors! What is the story on the door painted on a door- did you paint it yourself?- cool.

Really like the Dutch door in #3. My aunt had one when I was growing up.

My parents built their first home in the early 40's and it had a Dutch door. They moved before I was born, but I've always wanted one. With the right door, you can have it "Dutched" by a good carpenter. Probably not as secure to break-ins as a solid door though?

I confess, the second door is in Pleasanton CA where I was visiting my grammar school best friend when the FLASH notice beeped into my iPhone. My friend is a faux finish painter and that is her front door.... isn't it lovely!
