I appreciate all the kind remarks. She definitely landed in a loving home. From almost being killed on 101 to sailing the Pacific ~ one lucky dog to be sure. And ~ one lucky owner!

I used to have a wonderful German Shepard female who also loved going out on our boat, and diving into the water. Thanks for the memories!

Congrats to you both! She looks like a wonderful Shepherd I had who was dumped on our property, pregnant. She lived here quite happily for 14 years and we found homes for all the pups. Zasha has all the joie de vivre in the world. Enjoy your life together!

I have met so many dog owners at the doggie parks who adopted rescues. It says as much about the idiots who initially had them as it does about the generous and kind souls who adopted them. A coin always had two sides ~ seems to be true for a dog's life too. 484 - was that you running around 101 yesterday? No need for that if you want to sail, just ask! By the way, Miss Zash now has a PFD (Pet Flotation Device) in vibrant yellow! Next time she decides to go for a swim it should be easier to retrieve her!
