Roger, When a person has recently been drinking alcohol it makes their blood thinner and they bleed more so if you have a head injury that results in bleeding in the brain it may bleed too much and kill a person.

Yes Roger, I remember the Ocean View. My mom used to take us there when we were kids and I later worked there as the prep cook when Judy and Mo owned it . Loved that place. Here is one for you Roger. Do you remember Walter's on lower State? Cheapest place in town, but if you didn't like the way your eggs were cooked or didn't get what you ordered, Walter would say "good enough for you". Oh well, what do you expect for $1.85.

Those buddah-burning kids (look to be High School age) like to sit at stone wall circle, Alice Keck Park park, and pass their joints. Saw about seven of them a few days ago, all in one group. They were obviously dying to be seen by passersby, sitting in such an obvious place.

Police are regular people too, I'd go code 3 to get to the Rhino too, the sooner I got there the longer I could stay. CSI are the guys with the camera to take pictures of crime scene , dust for prints ( What a good place to have there job ) !! Hopefully nothing bad happened .

I should have known that was you Shakey..The one time I went there I snuck a pint of Whiskey in pounded it, and punched a bouncer who just stood there looking at me like I was an idoit. He was much shorter than me too. I always did stupid things when I was drunk Wet Brain and all..OK I missed the itinal call over the weekend because I think I was asleep when it happened. There was a 245 Stabbing on San Pasqual over the weekend..The suspects three tall HMJs..I don't know how the victim is.

I'm surprised that the Peppermint Hippo is still operating after one of the bouncers cruched some patron to death by sitting on him - it was not a lap dance

Not a doc but from what I've heard, head injuries bleed pretty bad even when not serious. As for the med, I think that doc gave a bad call on the morph! My 2 head injuries were at a young age, in the '50s & when I awoke (after trying to jump a hockey stick) parents just said: "there you go, going to do it again young lady?" Drinking at a younger age, made sure I always had trustworthy friends around to catch me BEFORE I fell !! :o)
