I worked for a cleaning company here years ago. I swept dust under the rugs, broke an ornament and flushed it down the toilet and ignored the toilets in one house completely. My employee was nice to me and I got a $10.00 Christmas bonus from the people whoose toilets I ignored. My co workers snitched on me about the dust under the rugs and I don't understand why I was not fired. I can only imagine there were workers who did things a a lot worse which made me look not so bad after all.

I always tried to do a good job. For 3 weeks I had my own business. But no business sense, nor mechancial ablity. My van caught fire and burned to the ground. I cleaned up the dead acouple times. Cleaned apartments in IV that was intresting. I only remember one job where I really didn't give a scrap. I moved this actress from an apartment mid town to the beach she nagged me the whole time. She wanted me to stretch her carpet and trim it. I'm sure I ruinned it. I covered it up with a trunk and walked off the job.

Roger, you are NOT insane by any stretch of the imagination. What you are is quite experienced in so many parts of life. I have complete admiration for you. Thank you for keeping us informed of what goes on in our community, and for your own personal stories of your life. Looking forward to much more from you.

Rodger, those are some great stories. Yes SB late at night is quite different than tourists ever see.
My mind has been imagining what all the "the weird things he had in there" were. Do tell to settle my active brain!

And what did he do when you let him in at the next job-did he recognize you?

... I helped a guy near foothill late one night a couple weeks back whom had run out of gas on his harley. Picked him up and took him to get gas .... hope it wasn't the same guy!
