The Danes have a long history with their neighbours the Germans, going back further than WWII. It has been a long and symbiotic relationship.

thank you for a small glimpse of my native country! I was born there, was 9 years old when Germans invaded ,on April 9, 1940, so have memories alright. Have been here in USA since 1946. Back to Denmark many times to visit with cousins, etc. Now no more traveling.
