Drinking too much coffee? If this be a crime I am definitely facing jail time. We know the what but not the why. Could somene please elaborate on this sillness ? At Starbucks one pays ahead for the coffee......... It must be Monday morning.

I'm guessing that Starbucks doesn't want them hanging around for hours, taking up tables or chairs for hours on end, spreading their belongings around, napping or whatever else they were doing in Starbucks. That they bought a cup of coffee and had five refills doesn't matter.

Perhaps they were given Gift Cards for the holidays. As for too much, I volunteer now for a mug (ahem!) shot. Such a criminal I am. But not at S/Bux without a g. card. Too 'spensive. Best to you, Roger and Pooh Bear. It occurs to me that Pooh jumping on you with three legs could only be 75% as bad as one of ours jumping on me with four. Yes, they all still have four despite my threats...

It's a puzzlement. Starbucks don't hand out refills. The gift cards make sense. In that case they can drag it out all day!

Hey Roger. Could be that your Edhat friend's email account got hacked by a spammer. That happened to me, and it's happened to a couple people I know.

Roger, you are delightful! I will share with you one way I entertained my cat in her 19th year. She passed away last year. I miss her. She just loved, on YouTube, the video called "The Birdies." It's birdies, jumping about, singing and eating out of a basket. My cat would have liked me to replay it over and over for hours, which I did for her. Some cats pay it no attention, others love it, especially when they are strictly indoor individuals. One way to see it is to go to Google, and type in The Birdies Video, then click on it, and it pops up.

I'm sorry you lost your kitty I lost my Angel acouple years ago to mean neighbors I really miss her. Pooh Head is my baby he drives me nuts but I love him little bogger knows it too. I have a bird feeder outside the window he's always watching.the birds..I'll check out the video thanks Lady..
