Roger, do you have any idea if the scanner reports track well with the reported crime rates that they provide? Or do those two things not contain similar info? Maybe not every police action on the scanner results in a crime report that ends up in the crime summary?

So sorry to read about Fishhead. You're an experienced Betta-keeper now perhaps you might consider rescuing one of those sad bettas kept at pet stores in tiny little containers.

Yup there was a Lockdown at PUFF yesterday.. I was dropping off my son at his school and one of the parents from his class works there. I said to him I heard you guys had some excitement yesterday. He asked me where I heard that from and I said Edhat. He then verified that in his ward they had to have a someone on Parole arrested because of the fact they were going balistic and damaging their room.

Thank You @890 You saved my behind Please to not identify the person that works there we would not want them to lose their job. There are some things going on over there I have read about possibly losing gov. funding for some of the things going on over there. So this person that said I was passing rumors is probably just trying to save her own job. I can't blame her for that we live in a very unstable world. Still I get irked when someone calls me a liar. It reminds me of the time I heard a Sheriffs Depuity request the location of the 187 which is murder. I posted what he said and KEYT told my editor at the time that I was crazy and there was no murder. I was so angry but then someone from the Sheriffs department put up a public notice about it. I have yet to recieve an apology from the person at KEYT doubt I ever will. In fact I'm sure they will try to give it to me again if the oppturnity arises. Thank you @890..Yes@852 That is true happens alot especally with 415 Domestic's I should have just left that alone and went to bed I could not sleep after that I was up all night..I knew someone would question why police cars were screaming through town last night I felt like I had to put it up..Many crimes are not what they seem when they are called in, many are actually much worse I think it balences out. Each year there are about 90,000 or so cases numbers that pass through the police department each case number represents sometype of complaint. This could be anything from a loud fart, to a barking dog, to a robbery, even a murder..Eitter way there are aprox. 88,000 people in Santa Barbara at least one filed complaint for each person. There are many crimes aganist the homeless that go unreported or are not counted as an actual crime. And the same goes Gang to Gang I think and it's just my opinion that some people are not considered human beings in SB CO. Weather or not all call ins are the actual crimes reported out small town is becomming more violent and for those that care something needs to be done. Thank You SlinkyZinky I don't have a heater though not sure the little booger can survive the cold..Old Fish Head was having problems I think he was on his way out from the Get Go.. Poor Guy at least he got to feel cared for a little while. Thank You for your comments.

Roger, I'm very sorry to hear about fishhead. I worry about you and Pooh Bear in your apartment with no heat. Why doesn't your landlord provide heat for your living space? It would make me very happy if I could get you a heater for Christmas. You are such a treasure to the Edhat community, and I appreciate what you do, you deserve it!

I dont know why anyone would object to the term "Lockdown" for the PHF. it is a locked psychiatric facility. It's always on lockdown.

Fish Head is in a nice tropical and warm place now..I may be going to a warm place when I die also alittle too warm prehaps..I have an electric radiator heater but don't keep it on all night when I'm asleep..Anyway I requested something with the landlord because everyone else has one and they are warm I'm freezing ash cold..He said he would work something out good enough for me. I worry about Pooh Bear more because I cannot have him in the bed until the cone comes off. But he has a cloth little cat house we got at Pet Co. Seems to help.. If I lose him I think I'd leave..

Roger, SO sorry to hear about FishHead, but glad you and Pooh are still hanging with us. Have you *tried* bed with cone or does it just drive you both nuts? I've slept with some strange things in my bed, but there's no way I'm posting them HERE. Please stay with us. You are the seasoning in the edhat broth, way more fun than trolls. Can you PM me your landlord's address &/or number through edhat and I'll ask what I can do.

My landlord would kick me out lol It'd ok for now..I guess I felt left out everyone elses has a heater and I'm the low income guy disabled everyones gotta have a scapegoat.. I'm more concerned about Pooh Bear than myself and Doc McDonald said he would be fine.. I know old Pooh though given the chance he'd hop outta bed and damn fool break his neck with dat collar on he's gotta stay where he is..I'm ok he said he will help me out..Just having a weird time right now probably the holidays anniversary of a girlfriends death missing her..Life...Thank you for your concern. :)

Yea that helps..I think a BBW Bag lady that likes to spank me would help too but I'll take all the love I can get thank you.. Oh speaking of love I'm reading Cleveland Amory The cat who came for Christmas and the cat looks hjust like Pooh Bear. Of course I'm also reading "Pulp" by Bukowski, love Bukowski..
