CHP is backed by Michael Towbes, who poses as one who cares about the community, but only when the cause LINES his pockets. Towbes is fighting hard to destroy the farmlands and quality of living in Goleta Valley AGAINST the plans set out by community volunteers in conjunction with SB county. That's right, Towbes is fighting the residents and the county this time, because he's doesn't think the planning process is going to give him as much as HE WANTS. CHP is a farce. It might help some, but that is by-product used for propaganda. They are part of the Towbes high-density machine.

Not surprising for a guy whose bank appropriates Tea Fire victims insurance money and puts stores out of business by raising rents unconscionably in a recession....
