Roger, I agree with you, a person is a human being regardless of their socioeconomic status and should be treated like everyone else. To hear people say we shouldn't waste our resources investigating a death or responding to a man being electrocuted upside down is just shallow and ignorant. No one human being is better than another, all are people with hearts, minds, and feelings. Do you ignorant people out there that are so sheltered and base your opinion of people on their income, country of origin, and lifestyle think you are better and more rewarding than everyone else? Everyone who dies has the right to an investigation, and if your getting burned alive the right to all available health. Get some humanity.

Yep it don't matter the cops don't care There's a nice shinney gate up in that storage yard now where "G" died and was buried in debis. There's no profit off serving the poor. The dumpster with all the evidence is gone. Soon that guy will get out of the hospital and rent more space. There aien't no thing as justice in this damn town unless you have money!

Well said 728! Unfortunately you can't get people to change their minds. My husband tells me "They'll never see the light, but maybe they do not deserve to see it".

Gang bangers driving an "Escape" failed to do so? I don't care who you are, that's funny.

Thank you to all the people expressing concern for "G". Her name was Gloria Jean Gerlach (maiden name Moad), and I am her biological daughter. Due to my parents' divorce and immediate permanent separation, I never had a relationship with her, besides the letters she sent to me up until my 8th or 9th birthday. I was notified of her death through the Santa Barbara Sheriff's Department, and I was listed as her next of kin. I am absolutely horrified to learn that she was homeless and the victim of this unspeakable tragedy. I am currently living abroad, but I would appreciate any further information that anyone has be sent my way. Although I never knew her, the loss is still very tangible. Thanks again for all your support.
