The great news is that visionary local developer Marcus Recordan is bringing a vertical wall of foliage to lower State Street. He has big plans for the Hotel State Street, the former flophouse next to the train depot, and will have one of these installations started very soon. Finally, something good is happening in the dead zone that is the corridor that should be the jewel of Santa Barbara's waterfront.

Fascinating. For some reason, when forwarding some Edhats with photos, the photos don't show up and I have to go back and individually post card them, but I like to have the whole explanation, as in this article, so hope the pictures forwarded.
