it was an ok show. i think saying that they "rocked the bowl" is exaggerating a bit.

Did they play any of their good songs? And by good I mean anything off Grassroots. I haven't really liked them since 1996 when they went mainstream. That's when they got clean, stopped doing the hard drugs, and being played on the radio, they just haven't sounded as good IMO. Grassroots was/is an amazing album though, Music was ok too.

311 are completely talentless. I am mystified by their "popularity." I find no melody or songs behind their music. They obviously have a following but my question is - what does this say about the taste of their fans? Are all of their fans age 22 and believe that music history started when they were 13. I feel sorry for these kids who think the 311 is the pinnacle of music. It is derivative crap in my humble opinion. Of course, look at the current "hits" charts of today - filled with rap, hip hop, junky Katy Perry tween pop, junky Lady GaGa derivative disco junk - the mass populace has been victimized by a lowest common denominator music industry that sells them lowest common denominator junk food and they eat it up.

They put on a really good show! No, not great, but they mos def "rocked!". I saw them last year in Irvine and can't say the same about that show... I think that one may have been geared more towards the "909-ers". Sunday night was more fun loving than head banging.
