Speaking of flexible mealtimes - every year my kitties have the darndest time understanding the change of clocks. Right now they start the day kneading my stomach in bed at 6:00 wanting breakfast and think dinner time starts at 3. I'm sure others have the same experience. As the sign says: "There's no snooze button on a cat that wants breakfast". You're lucky to have had Pooh around for such a long time.

Hi there! Thanks for the kind words re: Pooh! She loves the attention. She joined our family when she was 8 weeks old. My daughter, now 26 years old, was beginning 1st grade then! Pooh is spending nearly all her time these chilly days lounging on her very own little radiant heated bed. She stays toasty, and looks forward to napping in the warm summer sun. Come August we'll celebrate her 22nd with fresh catnip al fresco ;-)
