Hurray for Hank and for your friend. Taking care of a dog with disabilities is a challenge and Hank is obviously well cared for and happy.

All excellent portraits of your sweet best friend. The last one seems to say; the end of another wonderful day!

One of my friends didn't move her furniture for years because she was worried her high-speed, blind poodle would run into it.

We had a blind Akita for many years. He taught us many things, one of which was not to leave doors half open. He could sense closed doors or open ones but ran into edges. He too led a happy life. I can identify with not moving furniture!!!

Our German Shepherd Yogi had gone blind and we did not know it until one night we tossed a piece of popcorn for him to catch and it fell to the floor unnoticed. After a tirp to the vet and an eye specialist, we were told not to move the furniture and he lived quite well for another 16 months until cancer got him.

Animals deal with diabilities far better than people, they are perpetual optomists who do not know self-pity. Dogs are the best!
