Old cats are especially endearing. Their souls shine through their eyes, even when they have cataracts. He, and you, have been very fortunate to have each other. And the "service" he provided your mother in her decline is touching.

Aw, BearBoy is a doll! He looks somewhat like my RockyBoy who was a Siamese. He lived to be a very ripe 18 years until his bout with cancer took him away. You're lucky to have this little guy for so long, considering he met a coyote muzzle to muzzle. Glad he triumphed! Thanks for sharing and YAY you!
