I like watching all kinds of surfing, but much prefer watching longboarders as they are so much more fluid and tend to work with the wave instead of against it.

Seedlady, longboards can be found at most every surf spot but try California Street in Ventura, Rincon and Cayucos Pier.

Dear David, I'm like to track down the date, place, and the guy on the surfboard in the second picture down. (The bald guy with a camera angle looking down from a pier or a cliff). A bunch of my friends think it's me...thanx--stan

Hey Stan,
2nd picture was taken on Cayucos Pier after a paddle-out for a young friend and fellow surfer that had just passed away, Doug Morin. The photo was taken about a year ago. I hope the photo is of you...if so, let me know and I'll send you a high resolution image of it. David
