Thanks for delaying your journey toward the light to share more of your delightful words and pix on Edhat. Glad this tax season you get to focus on Be and bee instead of Schedule B. Wishing you a quick and full recovery that finds you both healthier and happier.

Welcome back, and so many thanks for your beautiful story, photos, and words of wisdom. Watching bees, and catching them in the moment, is a wonderful metaphor. Thank you, and thanks to Edhat for the opportunity to share these moments.

You're amazing David! You always bounce back in the most positive way. We had no idea you were out of commission. It pays to be early once in a while. (Hope it wasn't our taxes that overtaxed your heart!)

I am speechless -- I had no idea. I am glad to read that you are doing well (but disappointed that you canceled my tax appointment -- I missed the opportunity to chat and 'catch up'). Best wishes for a continued recovery. I think attitude is an important part of health, so I am sure you'll do well.

I'm a newbie to Edhat, so I don't yet know all the "regulars"... enjoyed reading your story and seeing your photos, especially the bee on the 'Pride of Madeira' flowers, you captured it just perfectly! Welcome back, and speedy healing.

Dave, I had no idea you had suffered a heart attack. So happy to know that you are on the path to what I hope will be a full recovery. As always, I love your photos and writings and look forward to lots more. (And more dance parties at LO with The Nombres!) Liz

Dave, I've been watching your photos for awhile and you've captured some great stuff. What lens did you use for these Bees? Who would've thunk a fit youngish guy like you would have all these health issues in the last few years? Good luck with your recovery!

Wow...thanks for all the kind words. Wasn't expecting that. My recovery is going really well. I'm back to running (albeit incredibly slow right now). The heart surgeon mentioned that my heart was undamaged through the whole adventure and it's beating like an 18-year-old. Again, I'm very fortunate. Thanks again, Edhatters, for all the kind words. My days with the bees were definitely therapeutic. 163883, I used a Canon 300mm lens shooting at between f/4.5 and f/5.6 at between 1/1600 and 1/2000 sec.
