There are great dogs in shelters looking for new homes! My doggie is a rescue too. She had a rough start (neglected, not socialized, isolated, bred the first time she went into heat) and then given up. But we found each other a year and a half ago and she's never looked back. She remembers only the good things and has a smile for everyone and makes everyone laugh and smile back!
