Your picture brought tears and memories to me. Abby looks so much like our Cherokee. He was my husbands constant companion and the love of all who knew him. I lost my husband to cancer, and a couple of months later Cherokee also died of cancer. The only thing that kept me going was knowing they both were together and pain free. I know your good memories of Abby will stay with you and while they hurt at first, they will become sweeter with time. I am so sorry- she obviously loved life.

I'm so sorry for your loss - Abby was a wonderful friend to you. My life is currently managed by a nearly 12 year old golden retriever and he is the love of my life (don't tell my husband!). I treasure our time together. I hope the your memories of good times with Abby bring you comfort when you are missing her.
