Thanks for the testimonial, Rodger. I have had Catholic Charities help me out, a few times in the past. Only one complaint: the young woman/women who work the front counter should be more personable. That sullen attitude doesn't go very far when dealing with people who are already feeling terrible because they are in a position of need. A soft voice and a smile goes a long way toward putting people at ease.

Roger--I have lots of VHS tapes I'm looking for homes for. Can I drop them off for you at the place where I met you with the chair? (next time I'm in SB?)

Almost 4 decades in SB/G, and Catholic Charities is my first thought whenever I donate stuff. They take almost everything. They help everyone. Religion does not enter into it, only charity and need. When downsizing or cleaning up, please consider them. signed, a non-practicing agnostic

I prefer all donations of VHS tapes go to Catholic Charaties although I don't think they would take unmarked tapes, taped from the TV. They do help everyone too not just Catholics, Good People.
