CRFG members are awesome! Friendly is an understatement. On Wednesday, I sent a 'cold call' email to a SLO Co. member, alerting him to the fact that a friend needed 100# of unsprayed meyer lemons by Sunday. He quickly sent out a blanket emailing to the members and w/i 24 hours I fielded 3 offers of fruit, and an invitation to join the group. CRFGs have all kinds of informational meetings and demonstrations on grafting, expert guest speakers, school programs, etc. A great gardening group to join if you are so over normal garden club agendas. These folks are serious plant freaks. Sounds like your locals chapter would be a great one too, Billy, with experts like this!
