My husband and I go there often to share a grilled cheese sandwich and soup. It is a wonder and peaceful oasis in the sea of downtown chaos.

My husband and I love it, too! The tomato basil soup is amazing with the crostini, and the chinese chicken salad is delectible.

They really do a great lunch. I love the salmon salad and their soups are great, too. A very underrated place to eat. And amazing views on a clear day of the mountains from the outdoor patio. I love eating lunch at Nordstrom!

Mmmm I love Cafe Nordstrom!! The sandwiches that come on grilled sourdough are the best - they have parmesan cheese grilled into the bread. Delish.

Oh yes yes, I dine with myself often at the Nordstrom Café, or Café Nordstrom. Sometimes I share with a friend. My favorite in warm weather is a half order of Chinese chicken salad, with a cup of soup. Mmmm. What a good prices in a lovely setting. I give a Wow for the view from the patio. Then after dining some shopping is always fun.

Another dining tip about eating at Nordstrom, order one of the kids meal lunches (I think mentioned in comment 122960?). The meal consists of a grilled cheese sandwich, chips, drink AND soup for about $5.00. They give you plenty of food and you can get it to-go if you are in a rush. It's the best deal in town and delish.

I've always enjoyed this restaurant, the food and service is great. There's something about being above the crowds, so to speak, that is particularly enticing.

On Tuesdays my coworker stops by Nordstrom Cafe at lunch and brings back to the office the MOST DELICIOUS chocolate chip cookies! And -- they are usually warm and fresh out of the oven!

It's a wonderful eatery and I try to get there once a week.. No one knows I go there and I enjoy the solitude and wonderful service. Chinese chicken salad is my favorite. Since I eat alone I don't take up a booth but enjoy a small table outside. Good spot. Darn! Now my wife knows where I sneak off to.

Glad to hear so many people like this spot, and that was a good tip about the kids menu.
