Nice...the area in the 4th photo is exactly where I used to swim with the feeding dolphins regularly...

I'm a little disappointed on David's behalf that more edhat readers haven't been posting their appreciation of these great photos and the effort he put into these posts...I think they're great, and thank you.

That "guy" riding a unicycle looks to be EdHat contributor Robert Bernstein.

Beautiful pics, thank you but where is Taj Mahal ? I'll take the architectural homage or the beloved singer :)

The Taj Mahal is just south of Santa Claus Lane. I think there are several homes within the compound. It might be a fun upcoming Edhat article, if anyone wants to tackle it. If not, I may take a stab at it. Thanks for the very kind thoughts as to my photos. The French have a term for my style of photography, Le Flaneur de la Photographie (wandering photographer). It's very random and I never know what's coming up next, which makes it interesting for me. Thanks for your appreciation.

Dave, is the Taj you posted the same as yesterday's aerial from our flight to Santa Paula? Barron is curious too.

Many rears ago Taj Mahal was the private residence of a Hollywood personage. It was much smaller, but quite opulant. It sported a pool, and a two lane bowling alley among other neat stuff. .It was reportedly the site of a lot of very wild parties. Several years ago it was greatly expanded and turned into a resort.

Dave, there's a new comment on my aerial view of Taj that links to more info including a real estate ad with interior pix. Hope you do the article, and if so I can send you more aerials.
