106009: Can you share with us what benefit this article had for you? And since you obviously missed it, the point is that they are NOT to be exploited as tourist sites. Beyond the well-documented traffic and fires safety hazards caused by bussing in hundreds of tourists to our narrow canyon, the point is that Santa Barbara should be for her residents to enjoy, first and foremost, rather than the slavish postration before the almighty tourist dollar that now rules our town -- with the self-interested aiding and abetting of Edhat. Nanny Note: We do not provide, maintain, and monitor this comments board so people can bash Edhat. However, we would be more than welcome to discuss Edhat editorial policy via email. If anyone has questions, concerns, comments, or advice about what we do and the way we do it, feel free to email ed@edhat.com.

106219P - Photos #3 and #5 in particular, but all of these photos, in general, are not at all representative of what the garden once was. The Botanic garden was supposed to be a native plant garden, and that it is no longer. That is what we are sad about. PS Please go back to LA
