This kind of reminds me of someone at a concert who is enjoying life so much, she just has to stand up and dance in front of everyone. Not a clue. At least you're not complaining about perfume. There's no place for that in a gym. Can you wear a headset with music, or do you have to be able to hear the spin instructor?

Has it occurred to you that this woman may have Asbergers (a form of autism)? These folks often make noises like what you are describing - unintentionally when they are concentrating and have no control over it. Best to keep an open mind before rushing into judgement against someone - you may later feel foolish or unkind.

I say join in, get in the game (even if it is stationary), have some freakin' fun while you're working up a sweat! Try to out-do her woo-hooing. Think of it as "competitive woo-hooing", if you need. Who cares if people think you are a freak, this world IS a freakshow!
