Thanks! We are huge fans of Korean food & will be heading out there this weekend to avoid the Fiesta mayhem. PS your photographs are so good, they must be caloric.

Any taco is a good taco in my opinion - I love eating tacos.

Koreans do a lovely job in presentation of food. We were fortunate to have some international students from Korea. One brought a friend who had been a chef in their army. He presented many beautiful meals. Another's mom came and had a Bar-b-que in our home. Instead of tortillas , they used some sort of a lettuce for wrapping. Very good.

Thanks Lemonjelly.... just got back, tried one each of their tacos, a *STEAL* at $1 a piece this weekend. What makes the tacos good is the kimchi + Korean sauce, which resembles spicy mayonnaise. Kimchi is way better than plain old lettuce... crunchier. The chicken was OK, beef a bit better, but the barbecued pork was fantastic. The small corn burritos were average... not bad, but nothing compared to Super-rica's. The IV food scene is really quite good these days... just north of Kogilicious is Caje, then on the left is the IV Drip and the Vietnamese place, then Freebrids and the new Hot Dog place to the right, then down Pardall is the IV Deli Mart (with the best Gyro and Schwerma around).

Today's the last day for their $1 taco deal, everyone! Glad some of you've been able to try them already. Liztish340 - I do think it began with a Y, and very well be Yoshi's, but now I'm thrown off because isn't Yoshi Japanese? What is your experience with it? thanks!

Well, they charged me $1.45 a taco, not $1 but I have to say that it was well worth it- especially as I cast-aside my vow not to eat pork and went for two of the BBQ pork tacos. Great mix of textures and flavors- spicy, a little sweet, sour, hot, delicious! I think they had used lettuce instead of cabbage but it was great just the same. The folks behind the counter (father/son?) had not heard of Edhat. THANKS for this recommendation!

Thanks again for the tip, Lemonjelly. I'm not sure I feel about the tortilla wrappers though... may try it for the heck of it. There's always Choi's market on Hollister at Patterson for take-away food. I love their spicy mung-bean pancakes (Bindae Duk).
