This is just adorable. Thank you for sending this in so we can all see how cute Rex is. How nice for the kids! Especially those who don't/can't have pets at home.

Rex is one mean kitty! Not only does he refuse to back down when he meets a dog, he gets aggressive and goes on the attack. When I walk my dog at Marymount, I'm always on the lookout for Rex!

An Clar, I am sorry Rex is mean to your dog - but he sure sounds like a character, and I love that he is the mascot of the school. Our very own local version of Dewey, the library cat...!

Cats can be very gregarious. One nursery I worked for had a neighbor cat who visited every day. Mario was a gorgeous Maine Coon who came over the back fence to strut his stuff and greet our customers. He became one of perks of working there. A day without Mario was a day without sunshine! A very sweet boy. This Rex loves company--maybe his family was gone all day?

Rex looks & sounds like one very cool kitty. That's great he's allowed to hang out at the school during the academic year so all can enjoy his presence.

Did you know that there was a study done, and it is a fact that male orange tabbies have a "nice gene"? It's true. Rex has it. What a special kitty, and how nice for all the kids.
