Oops! Maybe I shouldn't read Edhat first thing in the morning. Not liking dead critters accompanying my coffee.

Do you rent him out? The gopher snakes in my yard are lazy and aren't doing their job.

Can I get in line behind 96174? At least 100 gophers live in my garden, and that is NOT hyperbole.

Well maybe he bought the gopher over for you to make gopher stew. Gopher stew has always been a favorite in this house hold. It can be alittle gasey though if you don't cook it just right. I prefer to toss the little booger in a crock pot after skinning em of course. You got a good hunter there.

Jason looks like my cat Bob. Bob is the house exterminator. He loves to eat rats and mice, never a bird.

Go Jaguaro! I have a beagle that is a good gopher hunter also. He swallows them like cookies. Maybe we can rent them out together?

I'll take a rental gopher-cat, too. Our cat finds them entertaining, sits and watches them poke their heads out of holes, switches her tail excitedly, but never seems to consider pouncing.

Put me in line for rent-a-cat. I got a rat terrier mix, and thought maybe a side benefit might be that she'd hunt gophers. Alas, no such luck. Very handsome feline, btw.

His eyes and coloring look remarkably similar to my adopted cat Joey from ASAP. How old is Jason? My Joey is about 10 and has always been indoor only. When I adopted Joey and his bro Rex they had a 3rd brother in the litter who was so "wild" and standoff-ish I decided to take the 2 homelier guys and leave the 3rd to find a home where he could be free and be his "own dude". I wonder if this is the guy? Rex is a black smoke but Joey has the exact silver striped coloring and eye color - alas is a bit cubbier. My Joe spots our gophers thru windows and is our best alert system, we count on him so we can use our trap. Would be interesting to find out.
