A nationally recognized organization, CALM has long been a leader in working with families to prevent child abuse. It's also a excellent definition of a grass roots effort. Better yet, CALM stands as a perfect example our community rallying around a social problem and making incredible differences in children's lives. There is no way to tally up the hours the volunteers and great staff have worked to make CALM so successful. The staff often goes beyond a 40-hour work week, especially when a crisis comes up. All terrific people!
