ASAP is definately the place to adopt a cat. I got one 15 years ago (still a great companion) and took my aunt to adopt one this year.

I have nothing but praise for all the dedicated folk at ASAP. They took my cat along with hundreds (?) of others during the Jesusita fire when I had to evacuate. Cat carriers were stacked high with evacuated pets. Each December I send them a holiday donation to keep their good deeds coming. This community shelter is full of dedicated, compassionale people.
