I'd love to know the name of the vet who treated your kitty, as I share the life of my trusted and loyal companion, who is 18 years old (human years), also. We believe that she lives on love.

Beautiful kitty, and how grand that you are able to give her the gift of a serene and happy old age!

I too have a vet who has special talent in maintaining aged cats in comfort. She came on Thurs. to PTS a very old gentleman who could hardly walk but she left without doing it. Instead, gave new instructions on care. He is better and now is eating in small portions. How many cats are PTS prematurely, I wonder.

My cat lived to be 19 yrs old,and the last 5 years of her life she received "kitty dialysis" , IV fluids, each evening, after which she would get a treat. She came to expect and enjoy the treatments, and lived for that late night snack...

Ginger's vet is Dr. Sellers at the Cat and Bird Clinic. She is fabulous! We highly recommend.
