this made me smile. i lived in lincoln in the late 70's, during junior high. your story made me really happy my parents moved me back east!

hmmm...17 years in Lincoln and I have never heard of The Steak House...for a good steak, go to Misty's....Lincoln and Omaha were not built around the highway like cities in CA, so you can't experience the town via a highway diner...If you were to venture into town, you'd have found a great city with farmers markets, art museums, bike trails, vibrant college...along with football and beef....
