Chop the bok choy. Heat wok, put some peanut oil in and throw in the bok choy. Add some nutmeg or star anise and sesame oil.

Eat with rice. You may stir fry meat or shrimp with this.

Fast, easy, tasty.

Like cabbage on St Patrick's Day, the best way to prepare bok choy is to blanch in water or stock, blot dry, brush with oil and grill until carmelized on a grill or cast iron pan.

chop roughly, flash fry with olive oil and minced garlic briefly on high heat, finish with a splash or 3 of a really good, sweet balsamic vinegar just after you turn off the heat...mmm, delish.

I separate the little heads into individual stalks, heat a skillet up hot with a little peanut or vegetable oil, add a slice of ginger to the hot oil, then saute the greens briefly in the oil.
Then add a couple tablespoons of water, clap on a lid and let the greens steam cook the rest of the way through, so they are vibrant green, and crisp tender.

Once on a plate, I add a little salt or drizzle on a little oyster sauce.

For something different then stir fry and quick and easy, try them in an Asian noodle soup such as udon. To me, much for satisfying than cereal in the morning.
