What a great adventure we just had! Whew! I'm your reader from Parkersburg, Iowa. Home of the 2008 level 5 tornado that wiped out over 300 homes in this little burg. Looking forward to more reports on your trip.

Glad you're with me, 102. You folks have SERIOUS WEATHER back yonder! I've spent most of my life in what is possibly the mildest weather areas in the world, the 2-mile strip of Calif. coast, from Santa Barbara to San Diego. We actually get bored sometimes!

Good grief, John. Glad you are safe. We once were caught in a violent rainstorm in middle Italy and were lucky enough to find a bridge to shelter under. When the wipers do no good, you know you're in trouble.
