This is an amazing cat sanctuary where each feline is given copious amounts of love, personalized care and individual attention. Jeffyne is the whirling dervish who keeps it all running smoothly with her ceaseless energy and intuitive, abundant lovingkindness. I found my two wonder-kitties at RESQCATS and feel so very fortunate that they have joined the family; seeing the facility gave me peace of mind that these girls were healthy and well-adjusted after experiencing great trauma in their past...now I can't imagine ever adopting cats from anywhere else! One of the very special aspects of Jeffyne's organization is that they do not euthanize the felines that are unadoptable; no matter what the issue, such as uncurable illness or old age, the cats can live out their lives in comfort at the shelter. Please keep RESQCATS in mind the next time you are looking for a cat or whenever you want to donate to a very worthy cause.

Jeffyne is awesome! Thanks to ResQCats I adopted my Elle, who was one of the kittens found with 3 mothers and 6 other kittens. She is turning 2 this month, and makes me smile every day.

I adopted two cats, Roxy and Mojo(adorable and affectionate) from ResQcats a few years ago.Jeffyne is amazing! I don't know how she does it, it magical.The key is two keep them indoors. They live longer!

ResQcats is also looking for volunteers. It's a wonderful place to volunteer. It's a magical place like 66914 said and so is Jeffyne.

Ed+Staff, is there some way to give the 'non-profit of the week' more extensive exposure all week long, perhaps by moving the article up into each day's postings or by giving it a small box (like the ads) at the top of the home or local news pages? As it is being handled now, this "of the week" feature disappears from view before the week is over except as a rather generic-looking option in the lefthand menu listing of all Edhat columns. It's such a terrific, community-minded, new addition to Edhat, and I applaud you for giving non-profits this free shout-out and much-needed attention...I'm just suggesting that you might be able to give a bit longer shelf life to each week's entry. Thanks for listening and for all that you contribute to our collective SB County world.
