10 loads of laundry every week? Wow she must change her outfit 3 times a day. You could give her a bottle of red wine when you ask her to do your laundry. Wonder how that would end up.

...she must be doing laundry for others (for pay?) Ask your landlord or mananger if this is allowed, and tell them about your problem with access. They may be able to resolve the issue. Or start doing laundry at night during your work week. Then you'll have your weekend free for fun stuff!

I have the same problem. Our communal laundry room has allowed operating hours of 8am - 8pm (last load at 6:45pm). The new neighbor seems to do laundry at least once a day. I would agree with Seedlady and think that he's doing laundry for someone else, possibly for pay, but it's coin-op, not cheap, and inefficient to boot. Signed, Stumped P.S. Today's column was quite funny--I was laughing so hard, I couldn't even read it aloud to my roommate.

It sounds like it could be time for a schedule with reserved time blocks.
