Take a change of clothing so you can be dressed normally to and from the restaurant. Unless of course you're riding in the car with the relatives you don't want to see again, lol. ;)

My grandmother thought the moon landing was faked, too. I don't think special effects were good enough to fake it before 1970. I could never convince her that the moon landing could have been for real.

Learn to be comfortable with yourself, with others, and make an effort to communicate.

63968 The special effects were good enough because they had a talented director at the helm. His name was Stanley Kubrick, and he had just finished a movie by the name of 2001 A Space Odyssey.

Believe what you wish, guess it doesn't really matter anymore either way. Take a look at this if you are interested in film. Can't say it's the most credible info but fascinating nonetheless:

yep. You should be able to tolerate crazy people who keep it to themselves, and aren't trying to recruit you to a cause.

I don't like bananas, or the Jack Johnson tune referencing said breakfast meal, which seems to suggest that rainy days should be reserved for gorging on them.. I prefer chocolate chip pancakes or those shaped like silver dollars. Is there a way to get Johnson to change the lyrics? Thanks Edda, you rock, unlike Jack.

Why can't all methods of banana pancakes be accommodated so that everyone feels at ease? The obvious best solution here is to add SLICED bananas to the batter, rather than mashing them up or putting them on top. I'm surprised you didn't think of that, Edda.

Okay,
my Mother is really around the bend. The word crazy shouldn't be tossed around lightly. Conspiracy beliefs or choice of political party does not make one crazy. And if someone walked around in her underwear, it's their business. My mother's behavior adversely affects those around her. I used to whine to get my boyfriend to go with me when I visited. One on one with my Mom is nearly unbearable. I later realized that my boyfriend shouldn't be forced to visit someone who truly isn't fun to be around. So now I never make him go. I ask once and if I get a "no" I profoundly understand. And because of this change in my perspective, I've created my own personal boundaries when it comes to toxic people.

For the best banana pancakes you put sliced bananas in the butter and pour the batter over them. But you're better off just eating the banana. White flour, sugar, syrup are all BAD!

Mashed bananas in the batter? Talk about a sticky mess of a pan...

Now, Bananas Foster Pancakes...you're talkin my language. Make BF, pour over cooked whole wheat pancakes (flavored with Rum and nutmeg) and top with a bit of sour cream. Oh yeah.
