I'll be paying a lot more attention to footprints when I walk on the beach. Great photos and really thoughtful commentary. Thanks for sharing those thoughts.

Good photos and musings. Barefoot is best, except when it's too cold or too rocky, and then old sneakers work great. The ones that veer off towards any interesting rock or shell? Those are mine...

Back in the 60's the term "dog tracking" refered to a car with a bent frame that appeared to be going sideways down the road.
