Yummy! A tip I've learned for making anything that requires a small amount of liquor that I don't usually have in the house (since I'm mostly a wine, beer & hard cider drinker) is to go to the liquor store to buy amini of whatever I need. That way I don't have 730 ml left over when I'm done ( I make an exception for good single malt scotch!). Keep up the great column!

When in doubt, look to any Southern Living cookbooks or online -- have never found anything resembling a risky recipe there! Those folks in Maine can be counted on as well. Enjoyed your venture into cooking and telling .......
