Wonderful article, and notice how the Gaudi building is taller than 45 feet? And this is in Spain, the place SB wants to emulate.

True, @44567, it is a high-rise building and a very handsome one - and it is in Barcelona, population more than 1,600,000, a growth and size that some opposing the late Measure B would like Santa Barbara to emulate.

I don't want to see Santa Barbara hit 1.6M, but I'll tell you, as I walked past that "canyon-like monstrosity" at the corner of Gutierrez and Chapala I couldn't help but notice just how good looking that building is.
