To the Gal that might have started this fire by accident...I wouldn't be totally freaking out about this..You might be in trouble you might have to pay some crash out but don't freak it's only money..You might be punished but I doubt it's hard core although I don't know for sure..It's a HELL of alot worse looking over your shoulder all the time being paranoid. Take it from an idoit that used to be a real stupid criminal it really SUCKS looking over your shoulder all the time.

Live in this neighborhood... See people drop cigarettes out there all the time. Nicely ask that they don't. Never had a kind response. This is why I ask! Wasn't there a pic of two butterflies mating with a cig next to them. Nice! Way to respect nature people. Not only is it trash, but trash on FIRE!

Local news has been anything but for the last couple of decades. If it wasn't for Roger, the UH's and other posters, there would be little to no information. Keep up the great work.

This was on the main trail leading from Ellwood Beach Road to the bluff. The woman was not wearing a track suit. She was wearing a red sweatshirt with lots of stuff in the front pocket and a skirt. She was in her 20s, white, medium height, sandy brown hair. She was talking to herself/people who weren't there, like she was psychotic or on drugs. Her face was red, like she'd spent the day in the sun. After we tried to stomp out the fire ourselves, I went after her, but no luck. I asked others on the trail if they had seen her. One man told me he saw here wonder toward the golf course, the one near Devereaux. I was surprised that the others at the scene were not motivated to stop her from leaving the scene. Thanks to the firefighters!
