It's always amazing how bright the ISS appears to the naked eye, not to mention how fast it travels across the sky. Guess our son in NYC won't be focusing on this tonight. Ya think?!

I SAW IT! I SAW IT! Really moving across the sky. THANK YOU so much for letting us know. W-O-W. I called three people and no one saw it (or cared, I guess ) but me. Hah.

Oh. Just wanted to add: it came from NW but looked to be heading diagonally across SB---toward Ventura. Thanks again OP.

That was an excellent view. Quick, too. Six smart, lucky people just flew over. Thank you, OP.

Look up " NASA Expedition 33 " to see the current ISS occupants. A truly international batch of top scientists and flight engineers, headed by American commander Sunita Williams. Also, the Space X cargo capsule just landed back on Earth after visiting Williams, Malenchenko, and the rest just a couple of days ago. Congratulations to the whole endeavor.

MACPUZL: Were you the original OP? If so, I am happy you are so kind as to share these "passes" with us. Next time I am going to make certain more people join me for a look. Binoculars really enhanced the experience, too. Thanks again.
