I hope that someone called Animal Control. If the dog has been abandoned by its owner, he should be picked up and taken to the Humane Society where at least he will be safe and have the change to get adopted.

Lucky is his name, his owner moved out of the house and decided to leave Lucky unattended for 24 hours. After a night of barking and howling. Lucky made a break for it, got hit by a car and bolted. I feel so sorry for that dog what a miserable existance. How pathetic is that owner, what a loser.

Probably our old alternative route to Mesa Lane before the steps. Wouldn't do it now, but maybe still doable for a agile dog.

They were having radio problems but engine 6 canceled the squad. I hope that means the dog got down safe and sound but don't know. Since I did not hear that. They got the dog down it's not injured, cool...
