Must be a few days old because it has snowed a couple feet so far this week.

Stunning! I love the one of what looks like Birch trunks reflecting in the water with rocks. Thanks for sharing fall with us! :)

I wish I had been up in the Eastern Sierra to have taken those photos. It doesn't matter what time of year one goes up there, it is always a wonderful, magical place. Thanks for the reminder.

Thanks for the compliments! 187- The top photos were taken at Silver Lake on the June Lake Loop. The others were streams in a couple of different areas. 209 - Yes, just missed the snowy weather. In fact, when heading home on Monday I drove in snow for about 30 minutes. And had no chains with me so a bit nervous but knew heading south the weather would clear. Aqua....LOL

436, Thanks, they're beautiful. We were camping near Bishop, Horton Creek, and came home Tue due to the cold. You knew the weather would be better......my uncle told me about taking a girl sking to Mamouth (1949), it was snowing when they left but he told her it would "get better". He kept telling her all the way home. They arrived in SB at midnight and it was still snowing!

Beautiful pics...hopefully Mammoth will reopen June Lake resort, best skiing/snowboarding around and will keep the economy in that area alive. One of the hidden gems of California, thank you. I may go camping there next week as a result.
