Again? Didn't they just do this? Oh right, that was the Triathlon, where they marked the route with chalk arrows every 20 ft on the bike path; those defacements are still there, because no one went around to clean up afterwards. I remember now, the marathon last year was where all the drinking cups were left scattered over the roads. I find these runners/bikers to be like people throwing a yard sale who plaster their posters everywhere: they just use up the public commons for their own purposes and don't even clean up after themselves. Where's the benefit to the tens of thousands of people who live here and are inconvenienced by these things? And where is the sense of community responsibility? Me, mine, now. It's the new american way.
