Every so often, work on our streets will uncover the old street car tracks. I believe the bus kiosk on APS near the Riviera Theater is an old street car stop.

022- Right you are. Until they repaved aps in the 80's the rails came through the asphalt in many locations. It was a rough road.

Trollies, narrow gauge or short lines were common on wharves simply because a lot of supplies and products came by boat.

Wharves were very important because that allowed schooners or steamboats to offload supplies without throwing overboard and floating them to shore.
