Every so often, work on our streets will uncover the old street car tracks. I believe the bus kiosk on APS near the Riviera Theater is an old street car stop.

022- Right you are. Until they repaved aps in the 80's the rails came through the asphalt in many locations. It was a rough road.

I remember eating at Mary's. I was to young to remember wether the food was good or not. Good Lord I'm old. Thanks for the pics.

Trollies, narrow gauge or short lines were common on wharves simply because a lot of supplies and products came by boat. Wharves were very important because that allowed schooners or steamboats to offload supplies without throwing overboard and floating them to shore.
